Carsen loves anything that has to do with letters. He loves his "A-B-C stickers" and has started trying to spell out words with them. As a result, we find ourselves constantly picking stickers off our feet, peeling stickers off the couch and walls, and removing stashed sticker sheets from under Carsen's pillow.
He continually is asking us: "What does it say? What does it say?" And is able to point out Stop signs, Target and Walmart trucks, Marsh and Menards store logos, and of course "Barnes n Nobo"
He's not into cars, trains, bikes, or balls, but he can spell his name. The other day I took Carsen outside to teach him to use the pedals of his bike. We were practicing in the fire lane where it has 'NO PARKING' painted on the asphalt. All Carsen could focus on were the letters on the ground.
"That looks like C but it's actually an O"
Those 'NO PARKING' letters cause us quite the hangup whenever we get into or out of the car.
"This is the letter G, this is the letter N, this is the letter I,..."
